64 pages ...

Well, be careful what you wish for! :)  I have the lease. 64 pages of legal mumbo jumbo about holding harmless the Landlord and the Tenant (that would be) taking full financial responsibility for... pretty much everything.  Particularly unhelpful are the ambiguous and/or contradictory terms like "effective date", "date of delivery" and "execution date" that all apparently mean something different, though they also seem to be used interchangably, and all have something to do with when I get the keys, have to start paying rent and am required to be up and running... 

It's being looked over by the proper authorities and I hope to have it back to the property owners early next week and back to me to SIGN shortly after that.

On a more exciting note, I decided to act as though the lease will definitely happen and have forked over some cash to the Architect so they can get started designing the build out.  It's a tight schedule to get the design , the permits and the build out done in time to open July 3rd, but I'm giving it my best!
